Golf
There are 3 golf courses within 20 minutes. Santa Clara is south and Medina Elvira is to the north, as well as Granada Golf Course in Las Gabias where the apartment is situated. For those a little more adventurous who don't mind driving there are many other courses to be enjoyed on the Costa del Sol.
Coast & Beach
The nearest beach is 40 minutes away by car and from there you have a choice of resorts to visit. All the normal activities you would associate with major coastal resorts are available here.
Skiing
The Ski resort in the Sierra Nevada is less than an hour by car, this is the southernmost ski resort in Europe and was the host of the 1996 world ski championships. All abilities are catered for including adaptive skiiers. Equipment hire and expert tuition are available from the many shops and hire centres in the town. Whether you want to ski everyday or just a couple of days apartment Las Gabias is perfectly located.
Travel
The nearest airport is Granada (20 minutes drive)they have daily flights from Stansted, Liverpool,East Midlands, Milan & Frankfurt Hahn (Ryanair)
Malaga and Almeria Airports are both approx 75 minutes drive.
